This was the case for Knirps with the development of the ROOKIE school umbrella, which has been planned for years to complete the range. Now the time has finally come: ROOKIE is developed, designed, and produced, and from October onwards will accompany children from six years old on their way to school, the playground, or sports. The manually opened and easy-to-use umbrella weighs 205 g, has a diameter of 90 cm, and has been reliably tested in a wind tunnel up to 80 km/h. For additional safety, the umbrella canopy features a reflective, all-around band. For the school and cool youth umbrella, Knirps avoids typical children's motifs in terms of design; there are no unicorns, princesses, or dragons on the canopy. Instead, alongside six strong and clear solid colors, there is the cheeky eye-catching Bubble Bust design with neon-colored splashes on a black background. Additionally, the geometric and colorful designs Triple Blue and Triple Pink are available. Design and safety must never exclude each other, so safety is also paramount in the design variants, and the reflective band adorns these canopies as well. Thanks to its handy packed size, there is always space for the ROOKIE in school bags, purses, or backpacks, so no child or teenager will be surprised by rain anymore. Its easy handling and durable materials make ROOKIE the perfect everyday companion, and parents can be sure that their little ones are safe and visible in traffic thanks to the reflective elements.
