| Printing ribbons In this process, also known as direct card printing, the cards are printed by heating the different fields of the ribbons with a print head. The 3 primary colors (yellow, magenta, and cyan) of the fields are applied sequentially to the carrier using dye sublimation printing. This allows a resolution of 300 dpi and guarantees a professional result. To achieve perfect readability of texts and barcodes, these are printed with a black field using the thermal transfer process. Afterwards, the printed card is sealed with a protective varnish layer, ensuring high image quality and optimal protection for cards usable for up to 3 years. |
