Since the founding of our manufactory in 1934, our passion has been the production of the finest chocolate wafers in the best Swiss Kägi quality. With these specialties, which we exclusively produce in our home in Toggenburg at the foot of the Churfirsten, we make the world a little happier. Our chocolatiers and pâtissiers carefully coordinate to create our unique balance of real Swiss chocolate, crispy baked, light wafers, and a creamy mousse filling. Besides passion and great care, we rely on traditional recipes, consistent quality thinking, and noble, responsibly sourced raw materials. At Kägi, we merge tradition, savoir-faire, and innovation for a true Swiss chocolate pleasure, so that the very first delightful bite clearly shows: happiness is a Kägi. Our Kägi fret has been made for over 60 years according to a traditional recipe from noble ingredients and with homemade milk chocolate. The well-known Kägi fret got its name from Otto Kägi Senior, who abbreviated the French word for wafer, “gaufrette”. Since 1934, our manufactory in Toggenburg has smelled of delicious chocolate and crispy baked wafers. In combination with the creamy mousse filling, our chocolatiers and pâtissiers create a unique enjoyment that remains to this day. |
