| 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch The TL-SG1210MPE is a 10-port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch with 8 PoE+ ports and represents a powerful upgrade from an unmanaged switch. It is specially designed for small businesses that require simple network management and PoE functionality. The TL-SG1210MPE can connect and power up to 8 PoE devices, such as wireless access points (APs), IP cameras, and IP phones. Through its web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG1210MPE offers a variety of useful features including network monitoring, traffic prioritization, PoE Auto Recovery, and advanced QoS. Additionally, with port-based, tag-based, and MTU VLAN, the TL-SG1210MPE can enhance security and meet more network segmentation requirements. 8 of the 10 auto-negotiation RJ45 ports (Port 1 to Port 8) support Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality. These PoE ports can automatically detect and power IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant powered devices (PDs). The TL-SG1210MPE has a priority function that protects the system during overload. When the total power consumption of all PoE PDs exceeds 123 W, the system prioritizes power supply to ports in order (Port 1 > Port 2 > Port 3 > ... > Port 8). This function protects the system from power overload. For example, ports 1, 2, 3, and 5 each consume 25 W (maximum power per port). The TL-SG1210MPE offers network monitoring allowing users to observe traffic behavior. Through its web-based interface and management utility, it provides many useful features including MTU VLAN, port-based VLAN, and 802.1Q VLAN to improve security and network performance. The automatic PoE recovery restarts your failed or unresponsive PoE devices automatically. The TL-SG1210MPE is easy to use and manage. Thanks to Auto-MDI/MDI-X crossover on all ports, no crossover cables or uplink ports are needed. Auto-negotiation on each port detects the connection speed of a network device.
