Furthermore, it is used for compression of the extremities in phlebology, for pre-, intra-, and postoperative thrombosis prophylaxis, for support and relief in sprains and contusions, as well as for sports bandages, treatment of tenosynovitis, and also for fixing splints. Because it is kept very flat in the fabric, it adds little bulk. It is also pleasantly breathable and skin-friendly.
