| The Mepilex® Lite foam dressing was specially developed for the treatment of lightly exuding acute and chronic wounds. The thin foam dressing is soft and adaptable, allowing it to be easily used on difficult-to-dress body areas. It can also be easily cut to the desired size. It features Safetac® – the original silicone adhesive contact layer that minimizes pain during dressing changes. The dressing gently rests on the skin without sticking to the moist wound, so you can remove it easily without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. The wound edges are also sealed to protect the skin from harmful leaks and maceration. Clinical studies have shown that Mepilex Lite minimizes skin reactions caused by radiation therapy.
